Two men have been stabbed and another shot in a “major incident” in Birmingham, police have confirmed.

West Midlands Police cordoned off part of Hob Moor Road in the city’s Bordesley Green area, following the incident at 10am today.

Footage captured five police officers carrying out a fingertip search of the crime scene.

They combed the area for evidence as they walked slowly in a line examining the pavement and road.

Two police officers guard each end of the crime scene.

Three men were injured in the knife and gun attack.

They are being treated for their injuries in hospital, West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed.

In a statement, the service said: “We were called to reports of an incident on Hob Moor Road at 10.02am, three ambulances, two paramedic officers and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car attended the scene.
